The initiative begins
George Ardelean starts the personal initiative ‘Samariteanul în Acțiune’, motivated by a desire to support people in need.
Practical action
People experiencing homelessness, older people living alone, people facing illness, children, young people and families in difficult circumstances receive support.
Legal organisation begins
The process of verifying and reserving the name Asociația ‘Samariteanul în Acțiune’ begins.
The statute is finalised
The three founding members sign the statute defining the association's purpose, values, activities and structure.
Official opinion on religious activities
Romania's State Secretariat for Religious Affairs issues Opinion No. 29 concerning the association's establishment and the activities included in its statute.
The application is filed with the court
The application is filed and registered with the Sighetu Marmației District Court under case number 2873/307/2026.
The association acquires legal personality
Through Civil Decision No. 2775/2026, the court approves the establishment of Asociația ‘Samariteanul în Acțiune’.
Tax registration with ANAF
The association is registered for tax purposes, and the Romanian tax authority issues Tax Registration Certificate 55274631.
Continuity of mission
The legal structure changed. The calling remained the same.
The association does not operate retroactively. Activities carried out between 2023 and 2026 belonged to the personal initiative; subsequent projects are organised through the association's statutory structures.
