Samariteanul Network

Help, organised from referral to resolution.

A platform born from real situations, created to connect needs with resources more quickly and bring together people, volunteers, organisations, churches, companies and public institutions that can provide practical help.

Samariteanul Network – a network connecting needs with resources

Born from real situations

We learned that goodwill also needs a system.

It began with a simple need: we needed a refrigerator and did not have the funds to buy one. We asked in several places and, after a difficult search, a refrigerator came. We thanked God for it. The experience also showed us how hard it can be for a concrete need to reach the person who has exactly the right resource.

Later, we were told about a single mother with two young children, no job, rent arrears and disconnected electricity. It took time for the information to reach us, to find the family, verify the situation and then search for the right resources.

Both situations revealed the same problem: sometimes the resource already exists, but the need and the resource do not find each other in time. Samariteanul Network began from that realisation.

From need to practical help

Built around people, not around software.

Samariteanul Network keeps the initial referral, documents verification, separates underlying problems from concrete needs, follows interventions and shows what has been resolved and what still needs to be done.

The public portal displays only information approved for publication. Internal records remain separate so that the dignity and personal data of the people being supported are protected.

How it works

A clear path from referral to outcome

Each stage has a distinct role, while the information remains connected to the case it serves.

  1. Referral

A person, volunteer, organisation or community member can report a situation that may need to be verified.

  2. Verification

The team reviews the information, speaks with the people involved and, when needed, carries out an on-site verification.

  3. Case

If the situation is confirmed and intervention is needed, a case is opened and its problems, needs and priorities are identified.

  4. Support

Help can come through money, goods, services, jobs, volunteering or cooperation with other organisations.

  5. Progress

We follow interventions, what has been covered, what remains to be done and what situations have been resolved.

Matching needs with resources

Sometimes the solution already exists. It simply needs to reach the right person.

The system is being built to identify links between registered needs and available resources. Not every solution is financial.

  • A refrigerator or other household goods
  • Firewood, heating and utility support
  • A job for someone ready to work
  • School supplies and support for children
  • Visits and practical help for older people
  • Rent, bills and other concrete financial needs

Vision

An international platform with local impact.

We want Samariteanul Network to bring beneficiaries, donors, volunteers, organisations, churches, companies and public authorities closer together. The network can grow beyond one locality, but every result should remain concrete: a person, a need, a resource and help that arrives in time.

Many organisations and community initiatives help people without having an information system designed for this kind of work. As the platform develops, we want to make it available free of charge to organisations and teams carrying out genuine support activities.

“Freely you have received; freely give.” Matthew 10:8

Responsibility and transparency

We show progress without turning people’s vulnerability into a spectacle.

The public portal is separate from the internal operational application. This allows us to show the progress of a case without exposing information that must remain confidential.

  • Personal data is published only when there is an appropriate basis and approval for publication.
  • Internal notes, documents and assessments are not exposed publicly.
  • Needs and amounts can be published selectively, depending on the case.
  • Resolved problems and needs remain in the public history only when their publication is approved.

In Christ. For people. Through action.

A network becomes useful when people choose to get involved.

“Go and do likewise.”Luke 10:37
