Values and objectives

Principles made visible in the way we work.

Christian values are more than statements. They shape our decisions, relationships and responsibility towards every beneficiary.

Our values

The foundation of every action

01

Faith

We recognise God as the source of love, mercy and responsibility towards our neighbour.

02

Dignity

People matter more than promoting a project. We offer support with respect and discretion.

03

Responsibility

Every project must be carefully planned, organised and evaluated.

04

Transparency

We communicate clearly about how we work and how entrusted resources are used.

05

Volunteering

We believe in people who choose to give time, skill and heart to their community.

06

Education

We support the development of character, skills and a healthy life.

Luke 10:25–37

The parable that gave us our name and direction.

The name ‘Samariteanul în Acțiune’ is more than an identity. It expresses the calling to see a person in need, draw near with mercy and respect, and turn compassion into practical help.

The parable gives us our biblical motivation, while the statute expresses it through clear commitments: love of neighbour, human dignity, solidarity, responsibility and support for people in need.

“Go and do likewise.”Luke 10:37
01

He saw

We notice the person and the real need

We do not want to pass indifferently by suffering or turn a person into a project image.

Human dignity — Article 7(c)
02

He came near

We draw close with mercy and respect

We draw close to children, young people, families, older people and vulnerable persons without indifference or judgement.

Love and solidarity — Article 7(b–e)
03

He cared for him

We turn mercy into practical help

We provide social, educational, material, community and moral-spiritual support according to real needs and possibilities.

Purpose and objectives — Articles 6 and 8
04

He accepted responsibility

We remain responsible to the end

We manage entrusted resources carefully and work with volunteers, donors and partners to provide responsible support.

Responsibility and transparency — Article 7(h and j)

We do not claim to measure up to the Good Samaritan. We look to him as a model who challenges us each day not to pass by on the other side.

2 Peter 1:5–7
